Monthly Lunches
We meet once a month at Panera Bread in Mira Mesa for lunch. It's right
off the 15 near Buca Di Beppo and the movie theater. We usually meet on
the last Friday of the month at 11:30 but it's best to e-mail
to confirm. A lunch date might need to be changed due to school vacations
and holidays.

4th Annual RSRF Charity Golf
Classic
This is an industry-wide event benefiting the Rett
Syndrome Research Foundation. Each year members of the insurance industry
gather to raise money for treatments and a cure for Rett syndrome. The
golf tournament will be held on June 15th at the Cottonwood Golf Club
in El Cajon, California. Thank you so much to Deirdre Millwood and Lynda
Stettler for coordnating this event. To the golfers, sponsors, and volunteers,
your help is greatly appreciated! For more info, please contact Deirdre
Millwood or Lynda Stettler.

Rett Night At the Padres
Rett Night At Petco Park
With the baseball season starting and Rett night about 2 months away,
I wanted to get the word out to all of you for our game this year. Last
year was a great success and we look forward to raising more money for
IRSA this year! Howard and I have a goal of selling at least 350 tickets
and raising at least $4000. You all have been great supporters in the
past and I hope you can help in the effort to spread the word and sell
tickets this year.
This is the best deal for tickets we have ever gotten. They are normally
$41 dollar seats on gameday (1st base line - lower deck), but we are able
to sell them for $30 each. As always, that includes a free tailgater (BYOB),
and the Padres are giving away free batting practice jerseys to everyone
at the gate. If that wasn't good enough, this year's game is on a Friday
night instead of the usual Tuesday school night! The tailgater starts
at 5:30 and the games starts at 7:05PM. I hope you all can join us and
I look forward to hearing from you!
Take care,
Jim fabsmack@cox.net and Howard
p.s. Howard and I can use your help finding food donations for the 'gater.
Let me know if you have a special place that is willing to donate food
or drink items. Thank you. |
